Mike Doyle2022-11-21Elton R Construction has completed 3 remodeling projects for us in the last 5 years: a top to bottom kitchen remodel; a complete master bedroom/bathroom remodel that included a new walk-in closet, heated tile floor, and custom stonework; and conversion of an inground swimming pool to a sunken patio with a fire pit and pergola. All three projects were completed in exemplary fashion. As you would expect for a high-end construction company, Elton R employs highly skilled workers and subcontractors. The pool to patio conversion was a very complex job that included demolition of the old swimming pool, intricate concrete and stonework, and fabrication of a custom fire pit. The concrete and stone contractor brought on by Elton is second to none, and he created a show piece patio for us. In addition to their skill and expertise, we have found all of the craftsmen to be highly respectful of us being in the house. They have been courteous, mindful of our mornings and evenings, and have always left the job site as clean as possible at the end of the day. Elton’s project managers are top-notch. This was particularly evident for the master bedroom/bathroom remodel, which started in January 2020 and continued through the spring during the worst of the Covid 19 pandemic. Elton’s project manager kept the project moving while limiting the number of individuals in the home to a minimum and taking all necessary precautions. Despite pandemic-related complications and supply issues, the project manager brought the project to completion just a few weeks longer than the originally planned 4 months. Finally, all three projects were completed within budget. In our experience, you can’t ask for a better construction company, and we can’t recommend Elton R Construction more highly.

Imagine doing a major home renovation and respecting your project manager as the "best in the business" at the end. He is organized, honest, does what he says, super smart, clever, has high standards, does not take shortcuts ever, always want to do things the right way, transparent, reliable, detailed, held subs to high standards .... I could keep going with all sorts of positives things about him, Matt and all the Elton workers who were part of our project. My wife led our project and I was really impressed with how well he took the time to listen to her, he understood what she wanted and made it happen. Our home is the modern Newport project that has photos on the Elton website.

The supervisor, Mike Lyttle, was respectful, communicative and obviously respected by his colleagues. He was on top of things the whole time. Everyone I met on site was responsible and hard working. Elton also coordinated very well with our design team at EKD, and the execution was seamless. I was particularly impressed that they followed up after the finishing and made sure to fix any little nits that remained a few months later. I now live in my dream home. Top Notch!

Sadie brought a ready wag and calm disposition to the office every day. She happily greeted anyone who walked through our doors and she was great at keeping us all centered, even when things got hectic. On the personal side, Sadie was a tireless advocate for workplace siestas punctuated by brisk walks around the block. We miss her dearly and cherish our precious memories of her. She will live on forever in our hearts.
Amy, originally from Michigan, moved to Colorado in 2001. A love of numbers, order and accuracy has carried her through years of accounting experience. She has recently returned to the workforce after being a stay at home and homeschooling mother. When she isn’t making sure our accounts are in order, planning curriculum and being an unofficial Uber driver for her children, Amy loves working with herbs, cooking and gardening.
Jessica is a Colorado native and, while new to the construction industry, she brings a wealth of experience in management and process optimization from working in the rental car industry and attending NAU. She assists the team in making sure all of our office and our backend processes and systems run smoothly. Outside of ERC, she enjoys spending time with her family and dogs.
Matt is a custom residential remodeling specialist. He got his start remodeling residential homes in Centennial and moved his way up to high-end custom remodeling while running his own operation for over a decade. Matt, much like his brother Mikey, has a broad range of experience and understands all aspects of residential remodeling with high quality finishes. Born and raised in Colorado he spends most of his time off work with friends and family making music, playing guitar, seeing live music, playing video games, working on his cars, backpacking, and fishing.
Mike (Mikey) is a specialist in custom residential construction. He began as a carpenter, remodeling full apartment buildings in Denver and then moved to high-end custom homes. Mikey is a skilled craftsman who owned his own construction company prior to becoming a husband and father and joining us at ERC. With his vast experience, he is knowledgeable about all aspects of residential construction. Colorado born and raised, he spends most of his time away form work with his family and is an avid camper, flyfisher, backpacker, snowboarder, cat and dog lover
Tyler is an artist on and off the field. He has worked in the trades since 2008 and has been perfecting his skills and knowledge of construction everyday since. His love for the trades keeps him invested in every project he is a part of. From Timber Framing homes across America to finish carpentry, basement finishes, and kitchen remodels; Tyler has done it. Since moving to Colorado in late 2014 from Los Angeles California, Tyler has been putting his all into the many homes he has built/remodeled around Boulder County. In his free time he focuses on his art, music, and his 2 dogs.
Aaron started in construction at a young age working on his parents’ various remodeling projects on Victorian homes and restoring antique furniture. He relocated to Boulder in 1997 drawn by the Rocky Mountains and CU Boulder where he gained a degree in Literature. Over the past 15 years, he has worked in warranty and project management. He also has two young children that keep his wife and him busy most of the time. In his free time, he likes to climb, ski, mountain bike, travel and coach youth sports.
Michael moved to Colorado 25 years ago. Previously, he owned and operated a successful residential construction company for 12 years. He also has experience designing and building commercial facilities which gives him a wealth of experience in overseeing building operations. When not working, Mike pursues his creative side, building lights and other creations from from repurposed material. He also enjoys spending time with his family taking advantage of all Colorado has to offer.
Conor joined a roofing team at age 15 in Upstate New York and quickly graduated to building houses. In 2014, he moved out to Boulder. Conor enjoys helping clients make their home dreams into reality. When not at work, he loves snowboarding, dirt biking, and charging the mountain with his dog.
Rhiannon was born and raised in Southern California, before moving to Colorado to raise her family. She brings a wealth of experience from property management, hospitality, and construction accounting. She devotes time outside of work to animal rescue and organ donation, as well as spending time with her family and dogs.
Matt leads the sales team and collaborates with clients and trade partners in developing project budgets and taking designs from concept to reality. He’s a Colorado native and CU Alumni with a degree in Architectural Engineering, Matt enjoys cheering on the Buffaloes and attempting to keep up with his two young boys.
Beau came to Elton R Construction from the Bay Area after a 25-year career in tech helping launch and grow venture-backed companies. He graduated with a degree in Economics from Stanford University and holds an MBA with Distinction from Kellogg at Northwestern University. When not working, he loves to ski, golf, play tennis and hike with his dog.
